The Punjab Government under the leadership of CM Maryam Nawaz Sharif has officially launched the Punjab Kisan Card Programme 2025. وزیر اعلیٰ مریم نواز نے کسانوں کے لیے یہ پروگرام خاص طور پر اس مقصد سے شروع کیا ہے کہ کسان آسانی سے زرعی قرضے حاصل کرسکیں، کھاد اور بیج خرید سکیں اور ٹریکٹر سمیت جدید مشینری پر سبسڈی لے سکیں۔

Easy Loan Access – Farmers will be able to get loans of up to Rs. 1.5 lakh per crop season without any complicated process.
Subsidy on Fertilizers and Seeds – Subsidized rates on fertilizers, pesticides, and certified seeds to reduce farming costs.
Modern Machinery Support – Tractor financing and discount on modern agricultural machinery.
Digital Card Usage – Kisan Card will work like a debit card that can be used for agricultural purchases.

How to Apply for Kisan Card
Applying for the Punjab Kisan Card is very simple. Farmers need to:
Register their CNIC with their nearest agriculture office or designated bank.
Provide land ownership documents (fard/jamabandi).
Link their mobile number for receiving loan and subsidy updates.
Once verified, the card will be issued and can be collected from the bank.

Benefits for Small Farmers
Most importantly, this programme is not only for big landowners but also for small farmers with 1 to 12 acres of land. Small farmers will get equal opportunity to access loans and subsidies.
چھوٹے کسان جو اکثر قرض نہ ملنے کی وجہ سے مجبور ہوجاتے تھے، اب وہ بھی آسانی سے زرعی قرضہ حاصل کرسکیں گے اور کھاد بیج خرید سکیں گے۔
